Kimberley Dahme's upcoming show in Nashville on January 27, 2006 at 6pm will be broadcast live on the net. She will be performing 5 or 6 songs at the French Quarter Cafe in Nashville. The songs will be selected based on what members of Kimberley's Fan Club vote for.

To hear the show, you'll need to have Winamp installed; if you don't have it, you can get it for free at the Winamp website. To get the feed, you'll either have to go to the French Quarter Cafe's website, or you can open the following address in Winamp (without the quotes): "68.157.210.214:8000". You might want to check the feed before the show to make sure it works.

I'm happy to announce that the video section at thirdstage.ca has expanded!

Thanks to the individual who several years ago supplied me with a few rare videos that still exist here today, I was fortunate enough to get better copies of Boston's Long Time video and the RTZ video Face the Music. I was also able to get a lot more videos in the process. Right now, I've added the music videos for Orion the Hunter's So You Ran and the other RTZ music video Until Your Love Comes Back Around. I will also be adding additional videos in the near future; some live performances of songs and even some interviews, so keep a close eye on this site.

So take a few moments and check out the videos.

If you recall, RTZ recently had a meet and greet as part of their release of 2 new CDs, Lost in America and Found in America. At that time, the CDs were available at the event, well they're finally available for sale.

Lost in America contains all of the tracks that were originally released on Lost, and it includes the song Dangerous, which was previously only available on the Japanese release of Lost.

Found in America features the tracks that were released on the 2004 CD Lost and Found. It also contains a live version of Return to Zero.

Both CDs are available for sale through CDBaby for the price of $15.00 each.

If you didn't get a chance to join the chat with Kimberley Dahme recently, you have another chance, as Kimberley will be having another chat session through her Official Fan Club on Monday, January 02, 2006 at 10:00pm Eastern Standard Time.

As with the last session, in order to join the chat, you'll have to sign up to the group, which is a part of the Yahoo! Groups community.

Well I had the chance to partake in the chat with Kimberley Dahme through her Official Fan Club. Monday night. I was keeping notes, but I couldn't copy/paste from the chat session directly (stupid Java), so this isn't word for word exactly.

The chat session consisted of about 17 people, including Kimberley. It was a very informal chat session, but I did manage to pick up a little bit of info.

I asked her how many songs she's done for the next Boston album, and so far, she's assisted on two of them.

Someone asked about the rumor of Brad taking over lead vocals, and like what was previously reported from boston.org, who asked Brad Delp directly, and it's not true. In fact, she had this to say:
"Brad is Boston he can never leave again. Well excuse me Brad and Tom have to stay always and of course all of us Fran, Anthony, Jeff, Gary"

As far as her Christmas plans, you can look for her to be visiting a couple Nashville hospitals (she mentioned Vanderbilt and Baptist Hospital), as she said she'd be taking her guitar with her and "knocking on doors", to help bring a smile to kids and adults who can't be home for the holidays.

As for questions of a Boston 30th Anniversary Tour, it might happen. No official word, but her solo performances will be scheduled around it if it does.

Many know that Boston (Tom Scholz) is very generous when it comes to helping various causes. This time, he helped Operation Christmas in Fall River, MA by giving a $3,000 donation.

Project Christmas is an annual event held by Citizens for Citizens Inc, which provides toys for needy children at Christmas, as well as providing needy folks with food, help with utility costs and various other outreach activities.

Boston vocalist/bassist Kimberley Dahme will be holding a chat session on Monday, December 19 at 10pm Eastern Time through the Official Kimberley Fan Club group.

To join the chat, you'll have to sign up as a member of the group, which is part of the Yahoo Groups community. Membership requires moderator approval, so if you plan on joining in, don't wait until the last minute to sign up.

If you can't join the chat, but would like to ask a question, I plan on being in the chat session, so you could send me your questions (use the "Contact Webmaster" link to your left). I can't guarentee that the question will get asked (due to volume of questions or my availability to attend the chat session), but I will make every effort.

Brad Delp and Kimberley Dahme will be appearing on WZID (95.7 FM Manchester, New Hampshire) as WZID will be broadcasting live from the Palace Theatre on Dec. 14 at 7pm EST for Christmas at the Palace Theatre, with proceeds going to the Make a Wish Foundation.

If you live in the Manchester area and want to see the show live, unfortunately you're out of luck if you haven't purchased a ticket yet as this show is sold out. Not to worry though, you can still listen to the show live on WZID. If you don't live in the Manchester area, you can listen to the audio stream at www.wzid.com.

Joining Brad and Kimberley are many other artists -- some known to the Boston community, like David Stefanelli (RTZ), Michael Troy (who worked with Stefanelli in Beloved Few) and Lisa Guyer.

If you've visited this site in the last day or so, you probably noticed that the site would load poorly - or not at all. For over a day, most attempts to access this site would bring up the following error:
403.9 Access Forbidden: Too many users are connected

This was happening Monday afternoon, evening and early Tuesday morning. A trouble ticket was sent to my webhost Tuesday evening and within a couple hours, the site was working like magic.

After years of mediocre service from Elosoft (aka "NextWebHosting"), I've come to a decision -- this site needs a new home, and soon.

If you would like to help cover the costs of moving this site to a new, and hopefully better web host, you can donate using the link below. If you don't have a PayPal account, they do accept credit cards. If you don't have a credit card and would like to contribute another way, please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While there's no breaking news, I thought it'd be a good idea to create a post regarding the upcoming album, since a lot of fans might be wondering whether or not there is or will be another Boston album.

Well there is going to be another Boston album. There is no information yet regarding the title, songs, etc, but it is known that Kimberley and Brad have recorded some tracks. Now there was a rumor floating around that Kimberley was taking position of lead singer, but Troy from boston.org contacted Brad and he has denounced the rumor. Both Brad and Kimberley have been recording vocals. There have been rumors as well that the band lineup was changing dramatically, including Anthony not being invited to participate in any recording sessions, however this seems to be just another baseless rumor.

Hopefully we will get some official word soon regarding the album, and possibly be able to put to rest the rumors that have been circling throughout the online Boston communities.
