If you're interested in Boston memorabilia, there are a couple of auctions that you may want to watch out for.
There are two separate auctions taking place -- one to benefit the Station Family Fund and one for the Rhythm & Blues Foundation.
For the Station Family Fund, Tom Scholz and Gary Pihl signed a guitar, along with other artists from the recent Phoenix Rising benefit show. The auction is being held by Mimi Fishman Foundation Charity Auctions:
For the Rhythm & Blues Foundation auction, there's a Greatest Hits poster signed by Tom Scholz, Brad Delp, Curly Smith, Fran Cosmo, Gary Pihl and Davis Sikes. The auction opens on March 12, 2008 at 9pm Central, but you can see a preview of the auction items at Classc Rock Revisited.
The Station Family Fund supports the survivors and family of the victims of the Station nightclub fire. The Rhythm & Blues Foundation supports the preservation of the historical and preservation of Rhythm & Blues and provides support and assistance for R&B musicians from the '40s-'70s.
